Important information about scientific sessions

Presentations

Power Point presentations should be delivered to the Slide Center at least half an hour before each session. If necessary, the speakers can also use their own laptops, but please check earlier (during longer breaks), if it is compatible with the projector (particularly important for the users of Apple)

Time of your presentation:

Inaugural and farewell lectures – 45 min (35-40 min lecture + 5-10 min discussion)

State of the art lectures – 40 min (30-35 min lecture + 5-10 min discussion)

Invitedlectures – 25 min (15-20 min lecture + 5-10 min discussion)

Short oral presentations – 10 min (7 min lecture + 3 min discussion)

Please note the total time allotted for both the presentations and the discussions. As the latter is the crucial part of the meeting, the speakers are kindly asked to adhere strictly to the time limits for their presentations to allow sufficient time for discussions. Chairpersons will be warning the speakers about passing time!
